Miam is a small, family run cake and confection patisserie. Started by Scarlett Kilzer, who is head pastry chef, and her husband Paul, who is her business collaborator, the duo have included their children and siblings, teaching pastry techniques to equip them for life and a future in the pastry industry.
The team enjoys teaching classes, mentoring teens, participating in the Worthington farmers market, writing new recipes, and most of all, creating beautiful cakes and confections.

Following a career as a classical opera singer and more than 10 years of pastry experience, Scarlett Kilzer brings her knowledge of classical music history, costume & set design, fine art- watercolor, pen & ink and sculpting into her designs. Scarlett Kilzer designs are clean and delicate with the sophistication of Floral Haute Couture. Scarlett writes the recipes, photographs her work, chooses product to sell online and designs the cakes and pasteries.
Paul is not only Scarlett's husband and best dad ever, he is the business mind and collaborator for Miam. With 20 years of experience in retail and sales, Paul is an entrepreneur who has owned & sold several businesses and now coaches established businesses to work smarter. Paul is currently helping Miam to expand in 2019.

The Kilzer kids rock! They do so much for Miam including filling macarons, making ganache & frosting, baking cakes, dirty icing cakes, making mini flowers, taste testing, packaging, heavy lifting for the market, delivery and doing the dreaded dishes.
